home page of one kite flyer

Evolution

A friend pointed out to me that I've been neglecting this page and it needs updating. He's right, I've been off on other tangents and haven't been paying much attention to this web page, among others since I moved to Matthews. Adding a couple standard poodles to the family has absorbed a bunch of spare time, too.  But ... now that they are full grown and settled in, it's time to get back to making some kites and getting some new pictures on these pages. After I get back from some Spring 2009 kite events, I hope to get some new pictures and some new kites to add here soon. In the meantime, surf around the site and enjoy what's here. And keep coming back to see what's new.

As usual, most of my activities are focused on the W.A.C.K.O.S. web site (see the link below) but I will occasionally update this page with new kites that come out of my kite making room. So keep checking back.

If you're a kite enthusiast and live in the Charlotte, NC area, come up to Frank Liske Park in Cabarrus County on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, generally around 12 noon. Look for the most up-to-date schedule on the WACKOS club page. There's usually a couple of us flying something.
